- 1). Remove any jewelry that may scratch the glass surface of your Bosch electric cooktop---especially jewelry with sharp edges or containing diamonds---and then put on a pair of gloves.
- 2). Turn off any hot elements and then wait for the cooktop to cool.
- 3). Wipe the cooktop and knobs and/or control console with a soft, damp lint-free microfiber cloth, sponge or paper towel to remove dust, food and any other loose debris.
- 4). Remove any smudges, water spots or other stains with undiluted white vinegar. Soak the stains with the vinegar for at least five minutes. If dealing with grease, rub it away with a slightly soapy cloth or sponge.
- 5). Rinse the cooktop with a damp cloth or sponge to remove any particles or residues and then dry thoroughly with a cloth.
- 6). Apply your glass ceramic cooktop cleaner to the surface per your specific cleaner's package instructions. Typically, this involves applying a small amount to the entire surface---enough to create a white film across it.
- 7). Remove the cleaner and buff the entire surface with clean cloths or paper towels after the film dries.
