People on a quest for understanding and spiritual growth often come across the mention of the Akashic Records. What are the Akashic Records and how can they help us to divine our path, mend our ways or reach a higher state of understanding? The Akashic Records are, essentially, the sum of all knowing. The Akashic Records constitute every interaction, thought, notion and moment throughout time, and they are stored somewhere in the ethers, like a giant hard drive containing every single bit of information; every word spoken, every thought composed.... even the ones that you may have forgotten about.

There are those who say that we have access to these records, but in order to gain this privilege we must first find the key, which in itself is a very personal and spiritual undertaking, for each person's key is different from any other. Accessing the Akashic Records through astral projection, or out-of-body experiences, is not usually achieved on your first few times out of body. Bear in mind that each person's experience of the Akashic Records will be different. If you are expecting a vast library full of dusty tomes, then that is what you receive. If you feel like a pile of brittle scrolls found underneath a dark and desolate pyramid seems more likely, then chances are that is what you will get. Some people might see a giant computer screen where they may be able to pull up written information about anything that they desire to know. The information contained within the Akashic Records is more important than the manner in which it is presented, and even then the experience is personal and malleable. Take from it what you will.

Using Astral Projection as a catalyst to receive information about the Akashic Records, it is possible to become enlightened upon most any subject that you deem truly important. Inspiration, intuition and a desire to know what is really true for you; all of these things will determine your level of readiness when it comes to finding the answers that you seek. It is a process that takes time and effort to accomplish, but those who persist can learn much about themselves and their life path.
