- 1). Fill the Corningware pot halfway full with vinegar. Pour warm water into the coffee pot to fill it the rest of the way.
- 2). Allow the solution to set overnight. Use a non-abrasive sponge to clean the pot with the vinegar and water solution. You may need to pour some of the solution out of the pot in order to clean it.
- 3). Pour all of the solution out of the coffee pot. Inspect the pot for coffee stains. Repeat the process if you still notice stains. Allow the solution to soak for only two to three hours this time.
- 4). Rinse the Corningware pot out with water. Rinse it three to four times to ensure that you remove the vinegar solution. Use a liquid dishwashing detergent to sanitize and clean the pot before using it to make coffee. Place the coffee pot on a dish rack to dry.
