- 1). Mix one cup of water with 1 tbsp. of vinegar or lemon juice in a microwave-safe bowl.
- 2). Turn the microwave on high for three minutes. Leave the door closed for five minutes to allow the steam to loosen any residue.
- 3). Open the microwave, and carefully remove the bowl and turntable.
- 4). Wash the turntable in the sink with warm, soapy water and a sponge. Rinse thoroughly, and dry with a towel.
- 5). Wipe the inside of the microwave with a damp sponge. Add a few drops of dish soap to the sponge for tough stains. Rinse the sponge, and use it to remove any soap residue in the microwave.
- 6). Dry the inside of the microwave with a towel.
- 7). Replace the turntable, and close the microwave door.
- 8). Spray a soft cloth with window cleaner, and use it to wipe the outside of the microwave.
