Although cat love grooming themselves you still have to give them a bath every 7 months or so which is really a regular chore.
You may have to bathe them whenever they smell for some reason or another.

All you have to do is rub and massage them with the product and they will do the rest.
If you have kittens you should shower them at 4 months old so that they can get use to the water.
Before you start to wet their skin you should have the following items.
Two large mugs, a rubber shower mat, a dishcloth and some kitty shampoo.
You should proceed by putting in two capfuls of shampoo into a mug with warm water.
You should also untangle any hairs your feline might have bundled with a comb.
You should start to fill the sink up a few inches so that your little tiger will not drown when they get placed into the sink.
Everything should be just lukewarm when you start to pour liquid over them.
You should also talk calmly to them to reassure them.
Massage them to a lather and slowly wash them off with the other mug filled with lukewarm.
Finally you use the cloth to dry them off and make sure they don't go outside until they are completely dry because they can easily catch a cold.
