- 1). Download Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 as part of Office 2010.
- 2). Double-click the downloaded installer to begin setup. Click "Start," "All Programs" and "Microsoft PowerPoint" to launch the program.
- 3). Click "File" and "Open." Locate your Encyclopedia PowerPoint presentation, select it and click "Open."
- 4). Edit the slide show if you want to by clicking text boxes or images and editing to your preferences.
- 5). Press "F5" on your keyboard to start the slide show. You will now view the slide show on your computer. If you connect a projector or other external monitor, you can display the slide show using that display instead.
- 1). Download PowerPoint Viewer 2007 from the Microsoft Download Center. Double-click the installer to begin setup.
- 2). Click "Start," "All Programs" and "PowerPoint Viewer" to open the viewer.
- 3). Locate the Encyclopedia PowerPoint Presentation, select it, then click "Open."
- 4). Watch the Encyclopedia PowerPoint Presentation on your screen. If you want to show it to more people, plug in a projector or external monitor and display it through the other screen.
- 1). Download PowerVideoMaker Professional. Double-click the installer to begin setup. Double-click the icon on the desktop to launch the application. Use this application to convert the presentation into other formats so you can use the slide show without PowerPoint.
- 2). Click "Browse," and locate your Encyclopedia PowerPoint presentation. Select it, and click "Open."
- 3). Click "Browse" next to "Output Folder," and designate an output folder for conversion. Select a "Video Resolution" based on needs.
- 4). Choose a "Preferred Video Format" and a quality type. If you want to use the slide show online, select a lower quality. If you want to use the slide show on your computer, use a higher "recommended" quality setting.
- 5). Click "Start" to begin the conversion. Once your PowerPoint file has been converted, you will be able to use it in any video player or library as well as upload it online.
