How to Grow Kamut Wheat Seed

    • 1). Pour water into a shallow pan and spread seed in the water. Make sure that the seeds are spread out thin and are not all bunched up together

    • 2). Allow the seed to sit in the water for six to 12 hours to soften them and start the sprouting process.

    • 3). Drain the pan and store the seeds in a flat container with a little bit of water. Rinse them two times a day for several days until they start to show growth.

    • 4). Fill a growing tray with rich top soil and spread the seeds on top. The seeds can be spread densely, but not so much that they overlap.

    • 5). Water the soil thoroughly, but do not make it soggy.

    • 6). Cover the growing tray for two days, then uncover and place in an indirect light area.

    • 7). Water as needed to keep soil damp. Leave in place for about a week.
