This heater does not stir up dust and does not burn oxygen, so there is no threat of fires. When the heater tips over, it automatically turns off, according to Avian Web. Like the convection heater, the Soleus heater might not generate as much heat as other heaters, but given the hazards posed by electrical portable heaters, this heater is an appropriate trade-off.
