Your True Spiritual Mission in Life

Does anyone really know what their true spiritual mission in life actually is? Are we running around like chickens with their heads cut off, looking around every corner, grabbing every book and listening to every spiritual motivational speaker that has a new and improved method? There's a good chance that, that's exactly what we're doing.
Some spiritual teachers, tell us to meditate and then give us a certain amount of time to perform these tasks, daily.
I started meditating seriously about a year ago and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in relaxing and even to those who are seeking answers to questions that others cannot answer.
What about affirmations, unconditional love or even practicing a different religion or way of life.
These things are all great, but they don't necessarily fill the void in everyone's life, in the same way.
I don't recommend, following just one method or spiritual practice, to remove all of the pain or grant you eternal bliss.
I believe that our true spiritual mission in life is going to be different than those of the people from our past.
I can't think of one spiritual master who has all the answers.
If this spiritual master it exists, I have never found him and would love to meet him or her or it.
Your true spiritual path, will involve learning and there's no way around it.
The more you learn, the brighter the light will be at the end of the tunnel.
Whatever it is that you're doing and it's working for you, keep doing it, and I don't recommend focusing on just one spiritual method, keep your mind open and allow other spiritual methods that might make some sense into your life.
If they don't work, get rid of them and move on to the next ones, while continuing to practice the ones that work.
We are all on the same path, the problem is, not very many people know where they're really going.
I have heard, that it's about the journey, not about the destination.
So keep your focus on the journey and not the end of your journey.
