At some point in a woman's life, one dreams to become a mother. To some women this is very easy, but for others it takes a lot of patience, effort and money. There are thousands of couples around the nation struggling to conceive a child of their own, but to no avail. How can once increase chances of getting pregnant the natural way?
Step one: Live a healthy lifestyle. Exercise regularly, maintain a healthy diet and avoid fast food and junk food altogether. Incorporate plenty of fruits and vegetables into your diet. Take all nutritional supplements that will encourage a healthy womb for the fetus to live in.
Step two: Avoid drinking too much alcohol. Alcohol consumption means reduced production of egg cells by more than 10%, thus decreasing one's fertility and increasing chances of miscarriage for up to 50%. Alcohol is not just for fertility problems too-it can also lead to abnormal fetal development and cause defects to your child.
Step three: Decrease intake of caffeine. Studies confirmed that consumption of 500 mg of caffeine (or 5 cups of coffee) a day will decrease chances of pregnancy. Do you know that drinking hot beverages in plastic glasses can release toxic substances that can impair fertility?
Step four: One wise tip to increase chances of getting pregnant is by reducing the temperature in one's genital area. Increased temperature equals reduced fertility rate. So for men, avoid wearing over-tight pants, taking long hot baths and prolonged use of laptop on the lap. For women, avoid over-tight pants and shorts as well. Increased temperature can lead to friction, and in turn can lead to inflammation of the genitals.
Step five: The most obvious way to increase chances of getting pregnant is to have lots and lots of sex. Frequent intercourse means better sperm quality. More sex also means more chances the sperm cell and egg cell unite, and thus higher chances of conceiving a baby.
