- 1). Create a centered information header. Include your name, address, contact telephone number (your own or your agency's), your e-mail contact address and any professional acting unions you belong to (Equity, SAG, AFTRA).
- 2). Below this, add personal information: height, weight, color of hair/eyes.
- 3). Next, list relevant performing experience. This section should include your most recent movies, TV shows and plays. Categorize each experience as so:
Name of Movie...Character name...Year of release
Name of TV show...Character name...Date(s) of broadcast
Name of play...Character name...Venue - 4). Include your formal education and relevant performance training. List conservatory training and any classes or courses you have taken. This includes scene study, voice, acting, speech, dancing (list type of dance) and singing. Include it in your acting resume as so:
Name of institution or teacher...Type of study...Dates of study - 5). List any special training or skills you possess. Use this space to tell producers, agents and directors about skills you possess that may be of use to them. This include such things as juggling, stage combat, athletics you are proficient in, race car or stunt driving or dialects (list).
- 6). Have the resume printed on the back of your headshot or staple the two together back to back so your resume can be seen by flipping the photo over.
