A trip to Malvan with people you hardly know would the topmost thing in my list of memorable moments. It was unique and out of the world experience for me. There were risk involved and there was thrill factor which motivated me and my friends to undertake this trip.
We were on our way to Goa and all of a sudden we turned to Malvan. It was a group of travelers who were visiting Malvan, and I and my friends were heading to Goa. It was our third time in that year and it was more of change of location than a picnic. They met us on the train and it was during our conversation they invited us to join them to Malvan. We were not comfortable with this plan but the way they described Malvan, we thought of taking a risk. Since we didnt had any valuables with us and Malvan being a good developed tourist place we decide to take the risk. It was not that we doubted them but as they say you cant trust the devil inside the person.
They had made their arrangements in Hotel Sagar Kinarawhich was nearby to the beach. It took some time to convince the manager about extra two people but in the end he agreed. The place, Malvan was whole green and you could feel the sense of beautiful fragrance of the nature. Even the facilities available in the hotel were good, as we never expected such kind of hotels in Malvan. The Konkani food which was served in the hotel also was very delicious.
Tarkarli beach was the best beach I ever saw. Goa is the best but Malvan gives it a neck to neck competition. Even there were many water based sports activities and of it snorkeling was the thing which I loved the most. Since then, Malvan was my first choice for outing and PULs (Panoramic Universal Ltd.) managed Hotel Sagar Kinara as the accommodation choice.
