If you repeatedly find cat urine on the bed then there can be a number of reasons that your cat is doing this and they can all be combated so that your bed stays stain and smell free from your cat's urine.
Urination is a normal process, not only for cats but for practically everything, it is a way of getting rid of unwanted fluids in the body that just aren't needed anymore.
The normal thing to do when the need to "pee" arises is to use a toilet or in your pets case a litter box.
However you may encounter times when your pet will end up urinating somewhere else, like a bed and if this happens to become regular behaviour then there may be a reason that your cat is doing this and you can easily solve these problems.
Reason 1 - Infection If you find that your pet is peeing outside the litter box; on the bed, on the floors, on chairs then this could be because your cat has an infection.
This is the first thing that you should search for if you think your pet has a problem with regularly peeing or not peeing as much as they should do because these infections can be very serious.
All you have to do is take your pet to the vet and explain the problem and they will give your pet a check up and even if your cat has an infection don't worry about it because it is actually easily treatable.
If however this is not the problem then it may be the next reason.
Reason 2 - Unwanted Guests One things that cats don't like is change, they love routine; same food, same smells, same people.
Change will not make your pet happy especially if it is the scent of someone else.
Cats create a comfort barrier of their own scent by rubbing themselves around your house on the furniture (and even on you).
However if you have someone stay over and start to ruin this comfort barrier your pet will become territorial and will cover up their scent by urinating on the bed where that person may be sleeping.
Even if you don't find cat urine on bed sheets but elsewhere in the house the thing you need to think about it smell, if you have new products that give off strong scents then you may find them wet from your cats pee.
