Hi, I'm Amy Hollier, and I'm a celebrity make-up artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to put on eyeliner pencil. So I'm going to use Maybelline Vine Express which is a great little pencil that has a smudge brush on the opposite end. So to use pencil eyeliner you want to start in the middle of the lash line. And just start by getting right in between the lashes at the root. And then feather it out to the outside corner and then bring it in to the inner corner. It's okay if the liner is not perfect at the first go. Because you can always come back and add to it. It's much easier to apply a pencil liner in short strokes than to try and do it all at once. This gives you a little bit more control. And now I'm going to have her look down and apply it right into the face of her eyelashes and this will give it much more depth and really make her eyeliner pop. You'll see I'm just lightly pressing on the lid to lift it up and to get right into the lash line. I'm going to actually use the little smudge brush and just blend the edge of it just to give it a little bit of a smoky sort of effect. When you do your lower lash line a good trick is to just sort of dot it right along so that you don't have a hard line. If your liner does not come with a smudger brush you can just use your finger and lightly blend across or you can use a Q-Tip. So once you have a little liner under the eyelashes you can go ahead and apply some right here into the water line. Now I like to go back and forth just a little bit at a time. Let your eyes have a rest so that they don't start to water. And you'll also notice when you apply it to the waterline that it wont go on as heavy in the first swipe. So you can always go back and apply more on the top. If you haven't used eyeliner a lot, a pencil is really a great place to start. It's easy, you can play with colors and styles. And that's how you put on eyeliner pencil. I'm Amy Hollier and thanks for watching.
