Why Build a Walk in Closet?

There are few things more luxurious than a walk in closet full of designer handbags, clothes and accessories.
Of course, even if you only have a couple of designer bags and a pair of shoes, a walk in closet is still a wonderful addition to any home.
Walk in closets do not have to be large; you could build one in your own bedroom.
Aside from sheer luxuriousness, there are several reasons for choosing a walk in closet over a regular one.
The first is organization.
With a regular closet or wardrobe, unless it is very large or you have few items of clothing and accessories, your beloved clothes, bags and other items will be squashed.
They will not have the space they need.
This may result in you losing track of your possessions.
You may place a lovely summery designer handbag at the back of the cupboard for the colder months only to forget it by the time spring arrives.
As they say, out of sight, out of mind.
Most of us are too busy to keep track of every single item of clothing we have, so forgetting a seasonal item is not too farfetched.
Smaller items may easily get lost in an overcrowded wardrobe, slipping between the cracks only to be forgotten.
Secondly, stuffing clothes and accessories into a cupboard may damage them.
Clothes will get wrinkled and may tear, leather bags may be squashed out of shape, and the same may happen to shoes.
Piling things into a closet is not a good option.
Designer bags and shoes need some space to air and dry, to prevent damage to the materials, and to stop them from losing their original shapes.
Walk in closets, even small ones, allow you to organize your clothes and accessories neatly.
Because a walk in closet has three usable sides, the area to hang your clothes is maximized.
At the same time, you will be able to see what you have with the clothes hanging in the middle, the handbags on the top shelf, and shoes underneath.
Such an arrangement will also allow you to organize your items in a way that makes sense to you.
Maybe have the casuals on the left, business suits on the right, and everything else in the middle, or you could arrange everything by season.
It is entirely up to you.
Finally, with a walk in closet your bedroom will be tidier, and you will not have to worry about curtains while getting changed; you can just walk into your temple of fashion.
