- 1). Disconnect the cabinet member of the drawer slide from the drawer member. This is done by pressing on the release lever located inside the cabinet member drawer slide. The cabinet member is the larger slide section and the drawer section is smaller.
- 2). Place the cabinet member of the drawer slide into the cabinet opening. Mount the slide at the bottom of the opening on the cabinet side by installing the 5/8-inch screws through the slide and into the cabinet side using a power drill. Confirm the drawer slide is level using a level.
- 3). Install the remaining cabinet section of the drawer slide into the opposite side of the cabinet using 5/8-inch screws and a power drill.
- 4). Place the drawer section of the drawer slide onto the drawer box. The slide is mounted on the side of the drawer box. Make sure the slide is flush with the front and bottom of the drawer box. Fasten the slide to the drawer box using 5/8-inch screws and a power drill. Repeat this process on the opposite side of the drawer box.
- 5). Slide the drawer box into the cabinet opening. Confirm that the drawer slides on the drawer and cabinet sides are aligned properly. The two sections of the drawer slide connect automatically once the drawer is slid into position. Do not force the drawer box into position, as it may damage the slide.
