You must be disciplined, because no one is going to tell you when to show up for work. You have to be a self-started. You have to balance the housework, laundry, cooking and cleaning. When you are in your office and you look up and see something that needs to be done, you have to remember that you are at work and those things will have to wait. The great thing is you can schedule time to get all those things done, such as on your lunch break.

You may want to work part-time from home and continue with the job that you have. You can start part-time and then later go full-time, when you start making the money that you were making with your full time job. There are so many options when you work from home.

When you choose a rewarding home based business, you must choose something that you are passionate about. You have to have a reason or goal to keep you focused. Get the family to help you. Share that goal with them, so that when you hit that goal you have a fun adventure planned for the family.

You have to take time off or you will burn out. Set up a daily schedule, so that you schedule time off. Determine the days you will work. When you are in work mode, work and when it is family time or date night, be present, not looking at your phone to answer text or take a phone call.
