If you can imagine the perfect health I will describe, you can achieve it.
Picture this: You leap out of bed in the morning, excited for the challenges of the new day.
In fact, you are so energetic that the first thing you do is pick up your dumbbells and do 30 curls, then you do some stretches.
Now you are ready for a cup of coffee.
As your coffee brews, you make a pot of oatmeal with oat bran, nuts, dried fruit.
Just as the coffee pot brims, the oatmeal bubbles, ready to be cooled.
Before you empty your first cup of coffee, you read and comprehend every story in the front section of your favorite newspaper.
Now you put a little honey and cold milk in your oatmeal, eat it spoonful by spoonful.
It satisfies you to the core.
By the time you finish your oatmeal, the crossword puzzle is done.
Feeling nourished, limber, and strong, you prepare for a shower.
As your bathrobe melts away from your body, you stop for a second to admire your physique in the mirror.
You do the same after you emerge from the shower.
No need to feel guilty about admiring your own healthy body.
Enjoy this feeling.
You attack every task the day holds for you eagerly, at the top of your game.
After work, you play a game of basketball or go for a run.
By the time you plop down for your favorite shows in the evening, you are totally ready to enjoy a bowl of ice cream or a bowl of cheese puffies or a bowl of whatever you want guilt-free knowing that it will not go to your waistline because you can moderate.
You are in control of every aspect of your life.
Yes, you are.
Sound good? It is a highly achievable dream.
I know because I've achieved it.
The first step is to see it happening so let's do this again: Imagine a healthy you.
Go ahead: Close your eyes and imagine the best possible you.
You are strong.
You are full of energy.
You are effective.
Everyone can enjoy achievement and health, and so can you.
See it? That's the easy part.
Easy is good.
Everyone can do this, and you are ready to do it now.
The second step is to make it happen.
Making it happen means building good habits.
Those start today, right now.
You can do it! PS - Tomorrow never comes.
