How to Use Baking Soda and Vinegar to Clear a Clogged Sink

    • 1). Remove any sink stoppers from the drain. Clear any obstacles or debris from the drain opening.

    • 2). Pour baking soda into the clogged sink drain. Pour vinegar over the baking soda. The mixture will fizz and create foam.

    • 3). Allow the baking soda and vinegar mixture to sit in the sink for 30 minutes. It will penetrate any grease and grime as it moves through the drain and into the pipes under the sink.

    • 4). Pour the boiling water into the sink and allow it to drain. If the water still drains slowly, repeat the entire process.
