How to Get Rid of Scroll Up on a Taskbar

    Windows 7 and Vista

    • 1). Right-click the "Scroll Up" icon (i.e. the triangle) on the left-hand side of the Taskbar and select "Properties."

    • 2). Click "Customize Notification Icons."

    • 3). Check the box next to "Always show all icons and notification on the taskbar."

    • 4). Click "OK." The "Scroll Up" is now gone and all of the tasks are shown side by side.

    Windows XP

    • 1). Right-click the taskbar and select "Properties."

    • 2). Uncheck the box next to "Lock Taskbar" and click "OK."

    • 3). Hold down the left mouse button and drag the left edge of the taskbar until all of the icons are displayed.
