How to Connect Ethernet to Verizon FiOS TV

    • 1). Purchase an Ethernet cable from a local electronics store or order one online from a Web vendor. Make sure the Ethernet cable is long enough to make a connection between the router and the Verizon Fios TV receiver.

    • 2). Turn the receiver to its side and locate the Ethernet cable port on the back. The port for the Ethernet cable is a small, square-shaped hole that mirrors the end of the cable itself.

    • 3). Connect one end of the Ethernet cable into an available Ethernet port on the back of the router and connect the other end to the Ethernet port on the back of the Verizon Fios TV receiver.

    • 4). Power on the Verizon Fios TV receiver to access the Internet-based features.
