Most people think that aligning yourself to your putt is not a big deal, that as long as you make the stroke you are fine.
Well I have got a news flash for you.
Misalignment is the biggest problem in amateur putting.
By misaligning even an inch, you are guaranteeing yourself an extra stroke.
By misaligning your self you are making sure that your swing path is incorrect and this will result in the mis-hitting of the ball making it bounce and go in unpredictable directions.
If you we start aligning ourselves parallel to our ball, then we increase are chances of making the putt dramatically.
The good news is that, the stance is not going to be that hard too fix, but it will take some practice In Order to Align Your Self Properly Do the Following: 1.
) Make sure you have a ball that has a line on it, VERY IMPORTANT.

) After you read your putt, make sure that the line on the ball is pointing not towards the hole, but on the path which the ball will travel.
3.
) After aligning the ball, align your self parallel to the line on the ball.
If you can do these 3 things, you are on your way to breaking 100, 90, and even 80s.
By setting up parallel you are ensuring that you swing path is on the correct path, and you will make better contact, and the ball will roll truer and find the hole much more often.
