Moving Out in a Divorce

Throughout the course of a divorce, it may become prudent for one party to separate from the other, moving their residence to a temporary location until they can find a new place to live.
However, while this time may be full of highly emotionally-charged actions that are done full of anger or sadness, a steady head when it comes to finances can make the process of recovering from the shock of a divorce easier.
Instead of rushing out to a hotel, different options may be more appropriate for a person's individual financial situation.
Perhaps the most affordable way to find a place to stay during a separation or divorce proceedings is to move in with friends or family.
While this assumes that relatives and friends have a room to spare or are within the same city, it can provide a rent-free option with an immediate support system for those who need it.
So far as keeping spirits high and keeping oneself from making impetuous and thoughtless decisions, moving in with a friend or relative is a great option for some.
A hotel room is another consideration that could be a great choice for some.
A hotel, although potentially expensive, gives a person the opportunity to move away from the problems at home.
Without requiring the contracts of an apartment, a hotel is a good temporary shelter and place to live without some of the basic upkeep problems that can bog down someone under extreme stress.
Others will find renting a nearby apartment their best option.
Getting an apartment to move property into can establish another home while the court separates a couple.
The downside of this can be the expenses caused by possible alimony, child support, or legal fees that were previous unaccounted for by the divorcee.
In addition, an apartment ties a person down to a particular location, which may be disadvantageous to some.
