- 1). Pour vinegar into a plastic spray bottle.
- 2). Spray the vinegar onto carpet stains and blot the stain out with a damp cloth. Remove any leftover moisture by blotting the area with a paper towel.
- 3). Spray down kitchen counters and sinks with vinegar and wipe it up with a damp cloth.
- 4). Dampen a soft cloth with vinegar and shine stainless steel with it.
- 5). Pour 1/2 gallon of water into a bucket. Add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the water. Dip a mop into the mixture, squeeze out the excess liquid, and mop floors with it.
- 1). Squeeze the juice of one lemon into a small bowl.
- 2). Add salt to the lemon juice until it forms a paste.
- 3). Dip a cloth into the salt and lemon juice paste and shine brass and copper appliances with the cloth.
- 4). Squeeze lemon juice onto a stubborn stain and then spray it with vinegar. Wipe the liquid up with a damp cloth.
- 5). Mix 1 cup of lemon juice and 1 cup of vinegar in a bowl. Pour it over a clothing stain and let it soak for half an hour before putting the clothing in the washing machine.
- 1). Sprinkle baking soda onto carpet or upholstery that has a grease stain. Wait half an hour and then vacuum up the baking soda.
- 2). Sprinkle baking soda onto a wet sponge and use it to scrub up soap grime.
- 3). Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda onto the bottom of a burned pan. Fill the rest of the pan with water and let it soak for an hour. The baking soda will help dissolve the burned on food, which will make it easier to clean.
