Sent Requests

• 1). Log in to Facebook.com.
  
  
• 2). Enter the name of your friend in the search box at the top of Facebook, then click on the desired friend from the drop-down list to open his profile page.
  
  
• 3). Look in the area next to your friend's name at the top of his profile. If it says "Friend Request Sent," then he hasn't yet seen your friend request or is still deliberating whether or not to accept it.
  
  

Received Requests

• 1). Log in to Facebook.com.
  
  
• 2). Click on the icon with shapes of two people in the top-left corner of your Facebook screen, next to the Facebook logo, to open the "Friend Requests" screen. If you have any pending friend requests, a number will appear on this icon.
  
  
• 3). If you have friend requests, accept or deny them one by one. If you don't have any, you will simply see "No new requests."
