- 1). Use a blender to grind your psyllium husks to a fine powder. This will make the product easier to use and more effective.
- 2). When you awake in the morning, mix 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk with an 8 ounce glass of water. Stir the mixture well, and then drink. You must always take psyllium in a glass of water. Otherwise, its expansion could interfere with your ability to swallow it. Water also helps to move the fiber through your body. Follow this with some light exercise.
