- 1). Open the cover to the cassette tape holder.
- 2). Remove the contents of the cassette tape holder.
- 3). Grip the cassette tape holder firmly with two hands. Shake the cassette tape holder left, right, forward and backward. This will loosen the light coat of adhesive that is keeping the cassette tape player in place.
- 4). Pull the cassette tape holder out of the mounting case. This might take a slight bit of effort. If it is hard to grip, use pliers to pull it. In moments, the cassette tape holder should pop right out of the car's body.
- 5). To reinstall the cassette tape holder, place it back into the mount.
