- 1). Fill your bucket with warm water. Connect the telescoping hose to the front face of the SpotBot, and plug the SpotBot into a power outlet. Use the SpotBot to suck in some of the water in the bucket. Then power off the SpotBot, allowing some of the water to rinse back down the hose. Repeat this a few times to clean out any dirt or materials in the lining of the hose.
- 2). Remove the SpotBot from outlet power. Push the "Eject" button on the back of the button to release the attachment brush heads. Soak these brush heads in a mixture of water and detergent for a few minutes, then allow them to dry.
- 3). Unlatch the collection tank from the body of the SpotBot. The latch securing the tank can be found on the side of the device, above the tank. Empty the tank into a garbage container. Fill the tank with a solution of detergent and water and shake it around for a few seconds. Allow the solution to sit in the tank for a minute or two, then empty the container and rinse it with fresh water. Empty the tank a second time, then secure it back into place in the body of the SpotBot.
- 4). Soak a washcloth in a solution of warm water and detergent. Use this cloth to wipe the exterior of the SpotBot thoroughly.
