How to Keep White Kitchen Appliances Clean

    • 1). Dust your white appliances with a microfiber dusting cloth. These cloths trap dust in the fibers, rather than smearing the dust over the surface of the appliance. Do this once daily and before you damp clean appliances.

    • 2). Mix baking soda and water to create a cleaning solution. According to Creativehomemaking.com, use ¼ cup of baking soda per two to three cups of warm water.

    • 3). Unplug the appliance---never use liquids to clean an appliance without unplugging it first (to reduce risk of shock). Dip a cloth or sponge into the baking soda and water mixture, and scrub this over the appliance. Rinse after letting set 15 minutes, for best results.
