- 1). Align the holes on each side of the snow-blade brackets in the mounting kit with the appropriate holes on the sides of the frame on the front end of your tractor. Use the wrench to tighten all included fastening bolts.
- 2). Use an appropriately sized wrench to remove the mower deck on the underside of the mower; leaving it on negatively affects your tractor's plowing performance. Install the 42-pound counterweights on the rear of the tractor according to the included instructions to add balance to soon-to-be front heavy tractor.
- 3). Attach and fasten the pivot-support joint from the kit and thread the hitch pins through the mounting holes on the bracket. Slide the plow blade between the mounting brackets and line up the mounting holes. Thread the metal pins through the holes. Attach washers over the pins and flush to the brackets and secure each pin with the locking pins that insert vertically into the ends of the metal pins.
- 4). Push the pivot rod into the pivot shaft and insert the rod's opposite end into the handle tube on the inside end of the blade. Spray the rod's insertion points with a spray-on lubricant to keep them working smoothly and to prevent rust buildup.
