    • The F250 Heavy Duty's optional 7.3 L V-8 turbo diesel has a 16-valve OHV design. This motor has a 4.11-inch bore, 4.18-inch stroke and a compression ratio of 17.3 to 1. This large displacement diesel engine produces 215 hp at 2,600 rpm and 425 ft-lbs. of torque at 1,800 rpm.

    Payload and Towing

    • All variants of the 7.3 L V-8 powered F250 have a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds. The regular cab model has a gross vehicle weight rating of 8,600 pounds, while the extended and crew cab models have an 8,800 pound GVWR.
