How to Remove the Seats in a Jeep Wrangler

    • 1). Locate the front bucket seat's tilt-type frame and the mounting brackets.

    • 2). Remove the retaining bolts locking the front bucket seat brackets into the floorboard using an appropriately sized socket wrench.

    • 3). Lift the bucket seats up and remove from the vehicle.

    • 4). Locate the four seat support brackets for the rear bench seat.

    • 5). Remove the four screws that attach the rear bench seat to the brackets using a socket wrench. It is not necessary to remove the seat support brackets from the floorboard.

    • 6). Lift the rear bench seat away from the brackets and remove from the vehicle.
