- 1). Sprinkle talcum powder on any fresh frying oil stains on the wallpaper. Allow the powder to remain and absorb excess oil for 20 minutes. Wipe the powder from the wall with a damp paper towel.
- 2). Fill a small bucket with warm water. Add 2 tbsp. of grease-cutting dish soap to the water and stir it with your hand to create soap suds.
- 3). Wet a sponge with the soapy water. Wring out excess liquid from the sponge. Scoop soap suds onto the sponge.
- 4). Wipe the sponge over the frying oil stains on the wallpaper. Use medium pressure and wipe vertically or up and down over the stains. After scrubbing the stains, inspect the wallpaper. Wet and wring out the sponge and continue wiping the stains until they are removed completely.
- 5). Rinse the sponge under a stream of warm running water, removing all the soapy residue. Remove any soap from the wallpaper by wiping with the damp sponge.
- 6). Dry the wallpaper with a clean cloth.
