- 1). Open the oven door to the fully open position. Look for a screw near each door hinge on the inside of the door. Remove the screws with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Some doors do not have a screw.
- 2). Close the oven door halfway until it stops in the broiling position. The broiling position is the first stop the door makes during normal operation.
- 3). Grasp the door by its sides with both hands. Lift the door straight up, removing the hinges from the slots in the oven. Inspect the door hinges for damage. If necessary, pull the door hinge out of the door until the hinge is in the quarter-open position.
- 4). Hold the door by its side and lift the door in front of the oven. Insert the hinges into the slots in the oven and push the door straight down until you feel the hinges engage.
- 5). Open the door fully and secure the hinges with the retaining screws and the Phillips screwdriver, if you removed screws. Close the oven door.
