- Lemons and limes make great centerpiece focal point items. A few citrus fruits in a vase with water and flowers gives a fresh new look. Or, even a bowl with water and a few lemons sliced or whole can make a pretty placement.
- Apples are a great way to create a different feel in a room. A variety of apple colors are available all year long. From green to yellow or even a marbled red, apples can be combined for a spectrum of color or used as a centerpiece that accentuates one particular color. Apples are lovely in a bowl, vase, or any other container.
- Individually wrapped chocolate pieces can make a fun and edible center piece. Or, if chocolate is not conducive to your style, mints and caramel pieces can be used instead for the same tasty style. Put all of the candy in a glass bowl or, perhaps, even a box.
- Using pears as a center piece gives a still life art masterpiece feeling. Placing three pears lined up together on a plate is an artistic, healthy, and beautiful way to decorate a table. Pears are typically available in both a brown color and a green shade.
- From foil covered chocolate roses to a flower shaped fruit basket, choices for edible flowers abound. You do not have to fill a vase with fresh flowers that will wilt in a day because edible flowers are a viable alternative. Place the flowers in a pretty pot, in a vase, or even just lay them across a table if they are individually wrapped.
- Cookie jars make wonderful centerpiece options if you are looking for a more at home decor style. All sorts of shapes are available to make your cookie jar a unique piece. Fill the jar up with your favorite cookies for the best results.
