Programming a Remote

• 1). Remove the front panel of the Craftsman 315 by inserting a small flathead screwdriver into the panel on the cover and prying off the panel.
  
  
• 2). Press and release the "Smart" button on the Craftsman 315, which is visible with the front cover removed.
  
  
• 3). Press and hold the button on the garage door remote that you would like to program to the garage door opener.
  
  

Programming Fingerprint Keyless Entry

• 1). Remove the front panel of the Craftsman 315 by inserting a small flathead screwdriver into the panel on the cover and prying off the panel.
  
  
• 2). Press the "Smart" button on the Craftsman 315 and wait for the LED light to illuminate.
  
  
• 3). Open the cover of the fingerprint keyless entry. Wait for the LED light to illuminate, indicating that the unit is ready to scan a fingerprint.
  
  
• 4). Swipe your finger on the fingerprint scanner slowly. If the scanner did not properly read your fingerprint, the "Retry" LED will illuminate. If the fingerprint was properly read, the "Send" LED will illuminate, indicating that the fingerprint was scanned correctly.
