How to Troubleshoot the Honda Automatic Tire Sensor

    • 1). Check the pressure in each tire individually with the air pressure gauge. The tires must be inflated to the exact specifications on the car door.

    • 2). Inflate any low tire with the air compressor using the inflation fitting. If this does not solve the problem, then move on to the next step.

    • 3). Become familiar with the TPMS scanner. There are many different brands but they all work in a similar fashion. Scroll through the menu until you find your year and make of Honda. Follow the on-screen prompts for each wheel until you find the TPMS unit that will not read. This is the malfunctioning unit.
