How to Sync My Documents on a Storage Card With Windows Mobile

    • 1). Install the Microsoft My Phone application on your Windows Mobile device. From your cell phone's home screen, tap the "Start" button and select "Internet Explorer" from the list of installed programs that appears. In the address bar at the top of the screen, enter "myphone.Microsoft.com" and select "Go." When the website loads, click the "Start Download" link and follow the instructions to install the software to your device.

    • 2). Start the My Phone software. From your phone's home screen, tap "Start," then "Apps," and select the "Microsoft My Phone" icon from the list of installed programs. When prompted, provide your Windows Live ID and password, then click the "Sign In" button.

    • 3). Configure the software. From the drop-down box that appears on the following screen, choose automatic or manual synchronization. Place a check in the box beside each item type you want synchronized with the My Phone server. To sync the documents on your storage card, check the box beside "Sync Storage Cards."

    • 4). Confirm your settings. Tap "Finish" in the lower right hand corner to save your choices. Your Windows Mobile device will automatically initiate the first synchronization based on your selections. The data from your storage card will be included and uploaded to the My Phone server.
