How to Store Vegetable Seeds in the Refrigerator

    • 1). Spread the seeds onto a baking sheet in a single layer.

    • 2). Preheat an oven to about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Leave the over door open and place a thermometer inside to ensure you achieve the necessary temperature.

    • 3). Place the baking sheet into the oven and heat the seeds for six hours to dry them out, keeping the oven door open throughout the drying process.

    • 4). Put on a pair of oven mitts and remove the sheet from the oven. Wait about 10 minutes for the seeds to cool to room temperature. Place the seeds into a moisture-proof container, sealing the container tightly. Place the container into a refrigerator with a temperature below 40 degrees Fahrenheit for storage.
